AQUASAN GROUP
About Aquasan Group: What We Manufacture
Aquasan Group A.Ş. is a Turkish manufacturer of sectional (modular) water tanks, booster sets and pump systems, produced at its own plant in Malatya 1st Organized Industrial Zone (catalogue pp. 2, 24). Our water tanks are sold under the Aquatank brand, booster sets and pumps under Aquapump, and expansion tanks under Aquamax. The headline of our 2026 catalogue sums up our focus: “One of Turkey's Pioneers in GRP Manufacturing Technology”.
Every Aquatank tank is built from standard panels bolted together on site, so the tank can be made to the required size and capacity, and its panels can be carried through narrow doorways and assembled in place (catalogue p. 4). We make panel tanks in three materials:
| Tank type | Material | Panel size | Height | Key feature |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| GRP panel tank | Glass fibre reinforced composite | 1,000 × 1,000 mm | 1.0–5.0 m (0.5 m steps) | Opaque, algae-free, suitable for outdoor use |
| Galvanized steel tank | ST 37 hot-dip galvanized steel | 1,080 × 1,080 mm | 540–4,320 mm (540 mm steps) | High strength, economical solution |
| Stainless steel tank | AISI 304 / 316 L stainless steel | 1,080 × 1,080 mm | 540–4,320 mm (540 mm steps) | Highest hygiene, corrosion resistance |
Source: Aquatank Product Catalogue 2026, pp. 4, 5, 16. Standard capacities for galvanized and stainless steel tanks range from 1.26 to 90 m³; intermediate sizes and special capacities are produced to project requirements (pp. 15–16).
For how sectional tanks work in general, see What is a sectional water tank?
The same plant also produces fire booster sets and fire hose cabinets (p. 17). In our package solutions, storage and water transfer are delivered in one project with a single point of contact; the packages also include membrane pressure tanks for booster and plumbing systems (p. 22).
Our Factory in Malatya: How the Panels Are Made
Our factory is located at 1st Organized Industrial Zone, 8th Street No:45, Yeşilyurt, Malatya, Turkey (catalogue p. 24). As a direct manufacturer, we handle production, supply, installation and after-sales service ourselves.
- Hot-pressed GRP panels: unsaturated polyester composite reinforced with chopped glass fibre is cured under heat and pressure in moulds heated to 150 °C on high-tonnage presses (p. 5).
- Pressed steel panels: galvanized and stainless steel sheets are cold-formed on high-pressure presses (p. 14).
- Design and quality control: panel and joint details are designed in SolidWorks; raw materials come from first-class suppliers, and our quality control unit checks every stage of production (p. 17). Documentation is listed on our Certificates page.
To discuss your project, message us on WhatsApp at +90 549 446 40 44 or use the phone number and email address on our Contact page (p. 24).
Turnkey Delivery: From Site Survey to Commissioning
Aquasan runs each project as a single contractor from site survey to installation; our own teams assemble, test and commission the tank on site (pp. 2, 18). A typical project follows five steps:
- Requirements and survey: capacity, available footprint, access width and purpose (drinking, fire, utility or process water) are confirmed (p. 23).
- Layout design: GRP tanks can be built in rectangular, L- or U-shaped layouts and around columns; a partition panel can divide one tank into two compartments, for example drinking water and fire water (pp. 9, 13).
- Production and shipping: panels are manufactured in Malatya and shipped to site as individual panels.
- Installation and testing: the tank sits on a steel support grid over a concrete base, the panels are bolted together, and our expert teams test the completed tank (pp. 4, 9, 18).
- After-sales service: panels, gaskets and fasteners are supplied from stock; faults and leaks are dealt with promptly; periodic maintenance covers cleaning, disinfection and inspection (p. 18).
The product warranty is 2 years (catalogue pp. 3, 18).

Frequently Asked Questions
What does Aquasan manufacture?
Aquasan manufactures GRP, galvanized and stainless steel sectional water tanks, as well as water booster sets, pump systems, fire booster sets and fire hose cabinets (catalogue pp. 17, 22). Membrane pressure tanks are also part of our package solutions. See Aquatank (water tanks), Aquapump (booster sets and pumps) and Aquamax (expansion tanks) for each product family.
Where is Aquasan's factory located?
Our factory is in Malatya, eastern Turkey: 1st Organized Industrial Zone, 8th Street No:45, Yeşilyurt / Malatya. Water tanks, pumps, booster sets, fire booster sets and fire hose cabinets are produced at this plant (catalogue p. 17). Phone +90 422 502 04 00, WhatsApp +90 549 446 40 44, email info@aquasan.com.tr (p. 24).
Do you supply and install sectional water tanks outside Turkey?
Yes. Aquasan has 55+ reference countries (catalogue pp. 2–3), and our own expert installation teams carry out site work abroad as well as across Turkey (p. 18). International references include projects in Turkmenistan, Iraq, Uzbekistan, Georgia, Azerbaijan and Libya (p. 19).
What information do you need to quote a sectional water tank?
To prepare the right tank size, layout and price, we need the following (catalogue p. 23):
- Capacity in m³ (1 m³ holds about 1 tonne of water)
- Tank type: GRP, galvanized or stainless steel
- Width, length and ceiling height of the installation area
- Width of the door or opening the panels will pass through
- Location: indoors, rooftop or outdoors
- Purpose: drinking, fire, utility or process water
- Thermal insulation needs for very hot or very cold climates
- Project address and required delivery date
Send these through our quote form or to info@aquasan.com.tr. If you are not sure of the capacity yet, start with our water tank sizing guide.
How can I download the water tank catalogue?
The 2026 Aquatank catalogue can be downloaded as a PDF in English, Turkish and Arabic from the Water Tank Catalogue page, where you can also browse it page by page. It covers panel and height options for all three tank types, GRP design values, standard connection sizes and the steel tank capacity table (pp. 4, 12, 13, 15). Other catalogues are listed on the Catalogues page.
Are GRP panel tanks suitable for outdoor installation?
Yes. The catalogue lists GRP tanks for both indoor and outdoor use: the panels are UV-resistant and opaque, so no algae forms inside the tank (pp. 5–6). For very hot or very cold climates, panels can be supplied with 25 mm polyurethane foam insulation that contains no CFCs or HCFCs (pp. 5, 12). Even when empty, the tank withstands 60 m/s wind, and the roof carries a snow load of 200 kgf/m² (p. 12).
